who we are
At Lievik Atelier, we believe that metal is more than a material, it’s a language. Our studio is rooted in a deep respect for the ancient traditions of Indonesian metalworking, particularly from the Nusantara archipelago, while embracing the spirit of experimentation, material engineering, and contemporary design.

We shared dedication to process-driven craftsmanship and material exploration drives Lievik’s philosophy: to fuse function and form, honoring traditional blacksmithing while creating objects that reflect today’s design language.

our story
Lievik Atelier is a Bandung-based contemporary metalworking studio. We create artisanal jewelry, sculptural objects, functional pieces, and commissioned artworks through hands-on metalsmithing, silversmithing, and traditional blacksmithing techniques. We also offer metalsmithing and blacksmithing workshops for anyone looking for a creative experience in Bandung, as well as college students who need a space to experiment, learn, and develop their own projects.

Rooted in Indonesian metalworking traditions and contemporary design, our studio explores what metal can become through experimentation, material engineering, and craft. From pamor-inspired jewelry and silver pieces to architectural metalwork and creative workshops, each work reflects a balance of cultural knowledge, curiosity, and the freedom to let the material lead the way.
our vision

Our Vision
To make metal a living language between tradition and contemporary design. Lievik Atelier envisions a creative practice where Indonesian metalworking knowledge continues to evolve, inspire new ideas, and remain relevant to the way we live, wear, and experience objects today.
Â
Our Mission
We explore the possibilities of metal through craftsmanship, experimentation, and material engineering. By combining traditional blacksmithing and metalsmithing techniques with contemporary design, we create artisanal jewelry, artworks, functional objects, and commissioned works that carry a sense of place and process.
We also believe that craft stays alive when knowledge is shared. Through our Bandung studio, workshops, collaborations, and hands-on learning, we create opportunities for students, emerging makers, and the wider creative community to experiment with metal, learn traditional techniques, and develop their own ideas.
