Additional time beyond 4 hours is charged at IDR 100,000 per hour.
1. DISCUSS & DRAW
We start by talking through your idea, then sketching a simple design before touching the metal. You’ll learn how a concept can become a real object.
2. CHOOSE & CUT
Choose your material and transfer your design onto the metal. Then it’s time to cut, saw, and prepare the pieces for making.
3. SHAPE & TEXTURE
Hammer, bend, file, and texture the metal to build its form. This is where you get to experiment and see how different tools change the material.
4. JOIN & BUILD
Put the pieces together using basic soldering and metalworking techniques. We’ll guide you through the process while you work at your own pace.
5. FINISH & POLISH
File the edges, refine the details, and give your piece its final surface finish. A little patience here makes a big difference.
6. TAKE IT HOME

Your piece is finished! Take home something you designed and made yourself at our metalsmithing workshop in Bandung—plus a new appreciation for working with metal.
